How to stamp your nails (in a Charles Rennie Mackintosh design)

Rubber stamping is a fun way to create really unique nail designs, so I decided to try using my two oldest rubber stamps, which are in Charles Rennie Mackintosh designs, to decorate my nails.

To create your own nail designs using rubber stamps, you will need nail varnish, top coat, nail varnish remover, a rubber stamp, a stamp pad, and cotton buds. I chose the colour Kinetic Candy, because it's one of my favourite colours, and it is similar to the colour of the fence at Scotland Street School, a Charles Rennie Mackintosh building.

1. Paint your nails and allow to dry well.
2. Ink the stamp and roll it across each nail. If it's a large stamp, you may only get part of the image (the nails on my left hand used the rose stamp above, but it was only the centre of it that was visible on the nail. On my right hand I used details from the other stamp. I'd use a smaller stamp next time.)
3. Apply top coat.
4. Remove any ink from around the fingers using a cotton bud dipped in nail varnish remover.
