This was a design I came up with quickly after one of my colleagues, who wasn't going to be there on the day of my craft fair, asked if I could make her a robin brooch. She has since bought another three!
1. Cut out two robin shapes from brown felt, one red oval, a small yellow triangle and two tiny white circles.
2. Sew the eyes in place on one of the brown pieces, with french knots using black thread, sew the red piece with a running stitch in black thread, and sew the beak with yellow thread.
3. Sew the two brown pieces together with a running stitch around the edge.
4. Sew a brooch back on the back.
