Beer bottle vase

Here's a fun little recycling project - a vase made from a beer bottle!

When Dad had finished drinking this beer, he saved the pretty bottle for me, because he knows that I'll find a use for such things! I loved the design on it, but thought it would stand out even more if I painted the bottle.

1. Cover the top of the bottle with tape.

2. Spray the bottle with white spray-paint. I gave it a couple of coats, and concentrated it more towards the bottom so the neck would stay brown.

3. Use sandpaper over the raised design to remove some of the paint.
