Bryggen stamps

One part of Bergen that I really liked was Bryggen - a street of old wooden houses by the water, painted in different shades of red, brown, yellow and white.

Here are some stamps I made, based on the buildings of Bryggen. I found these didn't carve as cleanly as other stamps I've made before - I'm not sure if my tools are getting blunt, these particular erasers were difficult to carve, or if I've been spoiled by using Japanese stamp carving blocks! However, I'm pleased with the rustic effect of the rough carving - I think it gives the look of a watercolour painting.
1. Cut the erasers to a rough house shape.
2. Cut out some window and door shapes.
