This month I have been mostly...

Reading:
I've been continuing my re-read of the Chalet School books by Elinor M Brent-Dyer.

Watching:
I was glued to Spanish drama I Know Who You Are, but was really annoyed that they paused the series part of the way through! That disappointment was counteracted by the brand new episodes of Montalbano, though! Also enjoying Craft it Yourself, The Brain with David Eagleman, and Lego Masters.

Doing:
I've been putting the finishing touches to my living room, and taking the final items from my clear-out to the charity shop - which brought great charity shop karma as I immediately found a mid-century mirror of the very style I wanted! Went to a few lovely gardens. Went antique shopping. Stopped eating vegan. My second-cousin and her husband were over from South Africa, and it was great to catch up with them. Had my final appointment at the orthodontist, at which she cracked my retainer, so I had to go back for another final appointment later in the month! Still waiting for a hysterectomy appointment, so trying to keep my calendar fairly clear, but I've been called for jury duty! Did a lot of preparing for the #happyseptemberhappyme photo challenge on Instagram.

Sounds like a pretty good August Emma... apart from jury duty. I love your charity shop karma, funny how things work out. ;)
I'm sure September is going to be full of happiness and great things for you ;)

Yay, the Chalet school books!! I only discovered them as an adult but I LOVE them! If only it was easy to find copies!
