Doll hats and scarves

Here's another post I didn't have time to include in December! I've been musing for years about the idea of knitting or crocheting some little hats or scarves for some of my ornaments, and here they are.

I've given lots of my Japanese kokeshi dolls either a hat or a scarf. I didn't use any pattern, I just kept crocheting until I had something I liked!

I think it's a great way to add a wintry feel to some of your ordinary ornaments, and I don't think it just has to be for Christmas - my dolls will be keeping warm well into February!
