Clothing makeovers

Here are a couple of little clothing makeovers I've done recently.

My makeover of the black tea-dress was not very major. All I did was trimmed off some of the white trim, and replaced the white buttons with some more vintagey looking beige ones.

The mustard dress was a charity shop find that didn't really fit me properly - every time I raised my arms the waistband moved up, making it rather too short! I'd been looking for a mustard skirt for a while, and had ordered one from H&M that I sent back because it was too small. Then I realised I could make one from this dress!

All I did was to cut it about an inch above the elastic waistband, and hem it!
