My friend Aurora invited me to go to the Garden of Cosmic Speculation with her and some other friends. The garden is just north of Dumfries, so it took us a few hours to get there from Edinburgh. It's only open one day a year. The garden was spectacular, and there was so much to explore.

This looks like such an amazing place!
It is an absolutely spectacular place! If you ever get a chance to visit this or any of Charles Jencks other works they are well worth seeing.
John - I'm not sure how many years it has been opening to the public, so it may not have been open when you lived in Dumfries!
