When I was taking my autumn leaves self-portraits, I came across a really lovely large red leaf. The leaf had a hole in it, so I experimented with holding it in various positions to see what effect it would give.
I found that by holding the leaf really close to the camera I could get a fun red filter effect.
This was a great way of creating a filter effect using a found object, and I'm keen to try it again in future.
