Magazines are great places for finding unusual patterned papers for craft projects, and even better are the advertising brochures you can pick up in some stores. A few weeks ago I was in both Paperchase and Anthropologie, and their brochures have some great patterns in them!
As soon as I saw this indigo patterned paper on the front of the Paperchase brochure, I decided to use it in my phone case. It wasn't until I looked inside the brochure that I saw they actually sell a phone case in that design!
All I did was to draw around the phone case on the patterned paper, and cut it out, using a small pair of curved scissors to cut the hole for the camera.
