Book review: Sew Pretty Homestyle

I've had this book, Sew Pretty Homestyle by Norwegian designer (and founder of the Tilda brand) Tone Finnanger, for a few years now, but it's one of my favourite sewing books.

If you're a fan of white painted wood panelled walls and pretty pastel fabrics, then this is the book for you! I bought it because all the items look like they would be quite at home in my bedroom which has pale mint and cream walls, and pink and green accents.

I love all the projects in this book, and they all seem quite achievable. I particularly like the My House tapestry, which I'd really love to make as a quilt for my bed sometime.

Although you could make the projects from any fabric, I really love the pastel prints that have been used. I need to dig into my stash of thrifted bed-linens and get making some of the things in this book!
