One of the things I really wanted to see on my latest trip to the National Museum of Scotland was an exhibition of Nordic Modernist Design.
I really love this style of design, especially the jewellery, and there was a whole cabinet of this, including some Georg Jensen pieces. I also enjoyed looking at the glassware. The hanging bubbles were particularly stunning.
Oh, and when I asked where the nearest place was that I could find a folding stool so that I could sit and draw, the staff member that I spoke to went away to the other end of the museum and got one for me!
