Drawstring bag

This is the easiest little drawstring bag ever, because I used fabric that was already hemmed!

1. I measured the width and height I wanted the bag to be, adding a little to each as a seam allowance. I measured the width by wrapping the fabric around the cards it would be used as a bag for.

2. I folded the fabric in half, and used the sewing machine to sew around the two raw edges.

3. I turned the bag the right side out, and threaded a ribbon through the hem!

I've used this black velvet bag for a pack of Tarot cards. I'm not into superstitious stuff, I just like the art on the cards. I've got a collection of all sorts of interesting cards - playing cards, i-ching cards, and more.
